A full re design of the Wayo safari’s Serengeti Walking camp. All items were sourced within Tanzania. Most furniture I designed and had made with local “Fundhi’s”.

The colours of the camp are inspired by the Serengeti and nature. We used local grass baskets as lampshades for the mess pendant.

We also commissioned a beautiful walking stick light feature. Made from hand carved sticks of varying heights, with beaded sections and lights throughout.

All items needed to be packed up every few months and transported to new sites with the migration. Everything also needed to be made to withstand the climate and animals that could potentially eat them!
